Guffey is approximately one hour from Woodland Park and located in the southwest area of Park County. The elevation is 8600 feet and the population approximately 100 people. There is a mix of ranch and horse properties, second homes, log cabin homes and other unique properties. Close by are Eleven Mile Reservoir and Spinney Reservoir along with the ‘”World Renowned Dream Stream” for all you serious anglers.
The town of Guffey takes about one minute to drive through but I guarantee you will never forget you were there. Especially if you stop for a meal, do some antique shopping or chit chat and visit with the locals. And of course you would not want to miss “Guffey Heritage Days & Chicken Rodeo” held on the Fourth of July. The local mayor is elected every four years and is either a dog or a cat. The town of Guffey supports its own K-8 Charter School. This area boasts some pristine views, gorgeous rolling land and an abundance of wildlife and recreation opportunities.
